What DentaSavy is — and isn't
DentaSavy is an independent information and comparison site covering dental insurance and financing across the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Spain, France and Germany. We are not an insurance broker, we are not underwritten by any insurer, and as of today we don't receive commission from any provider we list. If that ever changes for a specific link or partnership, we'll disclose it clearly on that page — not buried in a footer.
We don't give personalised financial, medical or insurance advice. Everything on this site is general information to help you build a shortlist; the exact premium, network and terms should always be confirmed directly with the provider before you buy anything.
Our methodology
For each country, we research the public pricing pages, policy documents and press materials of well-known providers, then summarise them into three things that matter most when comparing dental cover: the typical monthly premium range, the annual benefit maximum, and the waiting period before major work is covered. We deliberately show ranges rather than a single number, because your actual premium depends on age, location, household size and the specific tier you choose — a single number would imply more precision than the market actually offers.
We review each country's line-up at least twice a year, and sooner if a major provider changes its published tiers. The "last reviewed" date on every country page tells you exactly how current that page's data is.
How the comparisons are put together
- We only list providers with genuinely public pricing information or clearly published plan tiers.
- We do not fabricate exact quotes, star ratings or customer review scores — the site avoids invented testimonials entirely.
- Regulatory facts (like Australia's standard waiting periods) are cited as general market context, not as a guarantee for any specific policy.
- Content is reviewed against each provider's own public materials before publishing, and re-checked on our biannual schedule.
A note on languages
DentaSavy is fully available in English, Spanish, German and French — navigation, the comparison tool, and every country and topic page. Use the language switcher in the top menu at any time; your choice is remembered on your next visit.
